Toronto Food and Lifestyle Blogger - spaghetti with tomato sauce

I made this pasta at work, because kids- of all ages- love pasta with a tomato sauce; and even though it’s “simple”, spaghetti with tomato sauce is life. I DARE YOU not to love this recipe…it’s simply impossible.

The SECRET to this recipe is to layer the flavours. You’d be foolish to toss the ingredients into a pot and hope for the best; NO, instead you build those flavours like the motherf*cking kitchen goddess you are!

Add whole cherry tomatoes and sliced roasted red pepper to the pot, and cook, stirring, for 7-10 minutes- buy your red peppers already roasted, the effort is wasted making them yourself.

Add dried thyme, dried oregano and coconut sugar to the pot and stir.

MEANWHILE cook 1 package of spaghetti pasta (white, brown, quinoa- I’ll let you be the judge).
