- 2 (8-ounce) packages Halloumi cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
Cut each Halloumi into 4 pieces measuring approximately 1-inch-by-3-inches. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat for 2 to 3 minutes per side. For the best presentation serve immediately.
Spiced Sesame Cucumber
- 1 large english cucumber, cute into 1-inch-by-1 inch-ish cubes
- 1 tbsp Shichimi Togarashi
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Toss all the ingredients into a bowl, taste and adjust seasoning
To serve, serve the cool cucumber salad over the warm halloumi cheese and garnish with fresh cilantro.
