As a business coach for women, and mindset coach I help people create a plan to RISE to their best life and business; and many of my clients think I NEVER have bad moods.
Today was low ebb day and I was vibrating at a low frequency. My feelings were hurt by someone I care about. And it hurt badly.
There is the myth in the spiritual/best self field that bad days or hurt feelings don’t happen- or they shouldn’t happen; but here’s the truth…
- I let myself feel sad.
- I let myself feel all the feels…there were tears, followed by anger.
BUT…before I let it squash my vibe (for longer than it already did), I got into process, because the measure of a woman on the rise is NOT IF she gets hurt feelings and bad moods, IT’S HOW she rises from those ashes.
TAKE RESPONSIBILITY…look, when someone pisses us off, the LAST THING we want to do is think of our part, but this is how we create BOUNDARIES; so that hurt feelings don’t happen again.
DECLARE THOSE BOUNDARIES aka the hard part…one we get real about the boundaries, then we have to declare them. This can be confronting and challenging and some people won’t respond in kind with respect, but feeling low vibe because you didn’t declare those boundaries feels worse.
DO SOMETHING HIGH VIBE…allow yourself the anger and the tears (you’re human after all) and then POWER UP by doing something that makes you feel good. Exercise, journaling, solo dance party- whatever. Do it until you start to feel good- and you will!
RISING TO YOUR BEST LIFE doesn’t mean you’re never triggered or in a low place; instead, the measure of a woman on the rise is her ability to SHIFT HER PERSPECTIVE and rise from the darkness back into her light.
