Granola is likely one of the best ways to start ones day. And, NO, I'm not talking about the shitty, sugary store bought breakfast stuff. This recipe is a breeze to make, 100% gluten and FULL of flavour. Your mornings will thank you!
- 1 cup raw almonds
- 1 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 2 tbsp honey
- 4 drops orange essential oil
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate covered chia seed
- 1/2 cup golden berries
In a dry non stick pan on medium high heat and toast the sunflower seeds and almonds until golden brown.
Meanwhile in a bowl, add the honey and essential oil. And add the hot, toasted seeds and toss to coat with honey and orange. Allow to cool, and toss with chia seeds and golden berries.
